Wishing Time Away....

Last night while Julie was messing around with my hair and watching T.V., she was talking about what she wants to do after high school. “First I want to be a model and if that doesn’t work a fashion designer. If that doesn’t work a doctor. If that doesn’t work a hair stylist. I don’t know why people have such a hard time trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives.” I just nodded and remembered how I felt at that age. How the possibilities were endless and I was in such a hurry to get on with my life. Well we were watching The Apprentice Celebrity Edition. Now I haven’t been watching it at all this season but Julie has and she just had to see the finale. Trace Adkins, one of the finalists, performed his song “You’re Gonna Miss This” and I started crying like a baby. It was the most appropriate song for that moment and I’m not a big country fan.
