Ghost Story
This weekend we are going to the Great Minnesota Get Together aka the Minnesota State Fair. Julie has already been there twice in the last week volunteering for Little Hands Farm and Second Harvest Heartland (my workplace). I will also be working there for Second Harvest Heartland tomorrow and look forward to being out of the office. I’ve always enjoyed going to the fair. The rides, the food, the animals. There is no place like it. So I look forward to blogging about the fair next week.
As for today’s posting, I though I’d share a ghost story that I made up the other day:
One day a woman and her two daughters where sitting in front of a fountain. The girls were throwing in pennies and making wishes. All of sudden the older daughter yelled, “Mom, did you see that? There was a ghost of an older woman standing right beside you.”
The mom said, “Quiet! I have a headache.”
The girls continued to throw pennies into the fountain when all of sudden the younger daughter fell into the water. “Mom! Mom! Did you see that?” yelled the older daughter, Julie. “The ghost just pushed Helena into the water.”
The mom said, “Quiet! I have a headache.”
Julie fished her younger sister out of the fountain but within minutes she was in the fountain herself. “Mom! Mom! Did you see that?” yelled Julie. “The ghost just pushed ME into the water.”
The mom said, “Quiet! I have a headache.”
And do you know who was in the water next?
The mom wrestled with the ghost and it was the ghost who was pushed into the water. The ghost let out a blood curdling scream.
And the mom said, “Quiet! I have a headache.”
The end :)
